Mirazur Capital and Marina Port Vell continue to develop their international network of premium marinas with the addition of Biras Marina, a marina in North Sound on the island of Virgin Gorda (British Virgin Islands) that specialises in superyachts and part of Biras Creek Resort. The deal will enable Marina Port Vell to transfer the operational model and service standards developed in Barcelona over recent years to the Caribbean, and to offer clients a new, exclusive destination in the region.
The deal marks a new chapter in the strategy announced by Mirazur Capital following its acquisition of a majority stake in Marina Port Vell: to build a leading network of marinas in strategic destinations. With Biras Marina, the Barcelona-based marina is extending its quality and service standards beyond the Mediterranean for the first time, consolidating its position as a specialist operator in the superyacht segment.

Biras Marina, a strategic location in the Caribbean
Biras Marina is part of Biras Creek Resort, a complex located in North Sound on the island of Virgin Gorda, which is a strategic location for sailing in the Caribbean.
Designed to cater for both short- and long-term stays, Biras Marina has 25 berths for boats up to 70 metres in length and 20 mooring buoys. Its facilities include water and electricity supplies, internet access, boat cleaning, catering and other services for boat owners and crews.
The marina forms part of a resort that combines luxury villas, superyacht facilities and a range of dining and hospitality options catering to the premium market. In addition to the Ikigai and The Mangrove restaurants, the resort features a multi-brand boutique and a helipad.
